Expanding Your Bookkeeping Skills: Exploring Certification Options
As I continue my journey into the world of Bookkeeping, I’ve recently achieved a certification through Intuit’s training modules. While this experience has been useful, I’ve encountered some frustrations with customer service that have prompted me to explore additional options for certification.
With various platforms available, I’ve come across several popular names in the industry: Xero, Zoho Books, FreshBooks, Sage Intacct, and NetSuite. I’m intrigued by the potential of these programs and am considering whether pursuing certifications with them could enhance my qualifications.
Although I have a strong foundation in bookkeeping—having once expertly managed accounts with nothing but pen, paper, and a calculator in a pre-digital era—I recognize the value of adapting and expanding my skill set as I plan for the years ahead.
