Title: Finding the Simplest Bookkeeping Software for Self-Employed Contractors
As a self-employed independent contractor providing healthcare services and operating as an LLC taxed as an S-Corp, maintaining efficient Bookkeeping is essential. With just a handful of expenses and monthly income from 1099 forms, the right software can simplify the financial side of your business.
Currently, I manage my payroll through Gusto, but I’m on the lookout for user-friendly Bookkeeping software to streamline the process for my accountant. Traditional options like QuickBooks feel overwhelming and complicated for my needs. I don’t require features such as inventory management, invoicing, or time tracking—just a straightforward system to handle my 1099 income and basic expenses.
Affordability is also a consideration; I’m keen to avoid monthly fees that can reach $35 or more, like QuickBooks Simple Start. Ideally, I want a solution that primarily operates through an iOS app, allowing for easy access on the go. Additionally, syncing with my bank and credit card accounts to automatically import transactions would be a major plus.
Currently, I’m evaluating Wave and Zoho Books as potential options. Both seem to offer the simplicity and functionality I need, but I’d love to hear from others who have experience with these platforms or recommendations for other user-friendly bookkeeping software.
What are your thoughts? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
