The Strangest Document Submissions: A Quest for Efficiency
As professionals, we often encounter some unique and sometimes perplexing scenarios in our line of work. One such experience I had was when a client sent me a photo of a PDF on their iPad. The twist? The photo was captured using a Samsung phone and then emailed to me. You can imagine the surprise—and the extra effort required to process that invoice manually!
This got me thinking about the unusual ways clients submit documents. We’ve all had our fair share of memorable submissions—maybe even some that left us scratching our heads. From handwritten notes that look like they were deciphered from ancient hieroglyphics to upside-down scans that require a bit of acrobatics to read, the spectrum of document mishaps is vast. There are also gems like files renamed “Image(345).jpg,” which certainly don’t inspire confidence in our digital organization.
I’d love to hear your stories! What’s the most bizarre document submission you’ve encountered? Share your experiences so we can all commiserate. I’m currently collecting these anecdotes as I work on a project aimed at streamlining the document submission process—because let’s be honest, we could all use a little help in this chaotic realm.
Join in and let’s find out we’re not alone in this journey!
