What’s the dumbest way you’ve ever received a document from a client?

Unconventional Document Delivery: Sharing the Strangest Client Experiences

In the world of client communication, we often encounter various methods of document submission. While many are straightforward and efficient, some submissions leave us scratching our heads in disbelief. Today, I want to dive into those unusual experiences and share a light-hearted story from my own journey.

I remember one instance vividly: a client decided the best way to send an important document was by taking a photo of a PDF on their iPad. To make it even more interesting, the snapshot was taken using a Samsung phone and then emailed to me. As you can imagine, we ended up having to process that invoice manually, which was less than ideal!

Now, I’d love to hear about your experiences. Have you ever received a document in a truly bizarre way? Maybe it was a handwritten note, a scan that was upside down, or a file named something as generic as “Image(345).jpg.” All of these scenarios can be both frustrating and amusing at the same time.

I’m collecting stories like these as I work on a project aimed at streamlining document submission processes and reducing the chaos that often accompanies them. This isn’t a pitch; rather, I hope to create a sense of camaraderie in our collective experiences. Let’s share our stories and reassure one another that we are certainly not alone in this.

Please contribute your tales of document delivery mishaps in the comments below!
