The Most Unconventional Document Submissions: A Lighthearted Exploration
In the realm of client communications, we’ve all experienced our fair share of unconventional interactions. One of the quirkiest aspects of this is the method through which documents are submitted. As I reflect on my own experiences, I can’t help but wonder: what’s the strangest way you’ve ever received a document from a client?
I’ll kick things off with a story of my own. Once, a client decided to send me a document in the most unusual manner imaginable. Instead of forwarding the actual PDF file, they took a photograph of the PDF displayed on their iPad using their Samsung phone and then emailed that image to me. Yes, you read that right! Unfortunately, this meant we had to manually process an invoice that could have been sent in a much simpler format.
Now, I want to hear from you. Have you encountered any bizarre or downright frustrating document submissions? Perhaps you’ve received handwritten notes, upside-down scans, or files with ambiguous names like “Image(345).jpg.” Whatever the scenario, I invite you to share your stories!
While I’m gathering these anecdotes, I’m also working on an initiative aimed at streamlining document submissions. Rest assured, I’m not trying to sell anything; I genuinely want to connect with others who have also found themselves navigating this chaotic landscape. Let’s come together to share our experiences and maybe even find some humor in the madness of it all!
