The Most Absurd Document Submissions: Share Your Stories!
As professionals, we often encounter various challenges in our line of work, and one of the most perplexing might just be receiving documents from clients. We’ve all had our fair share of bizarre submissions that leave us scratching our heads. Today, I want to hear your stories about the oddest ways clients have sent you important documents.
I’ll kick things off with my personal experience: I once received a document in the form of a photo taken of a PDF displayed on a client’s iPad. This photo was snapped with a Samsung phone and sent to me via email. To add to the chaos, we had to manually process the invoice, which made the entire situation even more frustrating!
Now, let’s turn the spotlight on you. What are some of the strangest or most inconvenient document submissions you’ve encountered? Perhaps you’ve received a handwritten note, a scanned file that was upside down, or a jumbled photo labeled as “Image(345).jpg.” Whatever it may be, I want to hear your stories!
I am compiling these anecdotes as part of my effort to address these chaotic scenarios and streamline the document submission process. I’m not here to sell you a solution—just looking to connect with others who can relate to these amusingly frustrating experiences.
So, what’s your tale? Let’s share and support one another in navigating this often puzzling aspect of our work!
