The Most Unconventional Ways Clients Deliver Documents: Let’s Share Our Stories!
In the world of professional services, document submission can often be a source of unexpected amusement and frustration. Have you ever received a client’s document in a way that left you scratching your head? I certainly have a story to share.
Recently, a client sent me a photograph of a PDF displayed on their iPad. What made it even more bizarre was that this photo was taken with a Samsung phone and then emailed to me. As you can imagine, this led to quite the ordeal, as we were still required to process that invoice manually!
Now, I’m not alone in this experience. I’m genuinely curious about the most bizarre or inefficient methods you’ve encountered when receiving documents from clients. Whether it’s handwritten notes, upside-down scans, or files simply named “Image(345).jpg,” I want to hear your stories!
I’m currently gathering these anecdotes for a project aimed at addressing the chaos that often accompanies document submissions. This isn’t a pitch for any product—just a sincere effort to connect with others facing similar challenges and to know that I’m not alone in this journey.
So, what’s the strangest or most frustrating document delivery you’ve dealt with? Share your tales in the comments below!
