The Most Unconventional Document Submissions: A Call for Your Stories
In the world of client interactions, we have all encountered our fair share of peculiar documentation submissions. Today, I want to share an experience that left me both amused and slightly bewildered.
Not long ago, a client decided to send me an invoice in the most unconventional way imaginable: they snapped a picture of a PDF displayed on their iPad using a Samsung phone and then emailed that image. To top it off, we ended up having to manually process that invoice. It was a reminder that despite our advancements in technology, some traditional methods can still lead to chaos.
Now, I am curious to hear about your own experiences. What’s the most bizarre or frustrating way you’ve received a document from a client? Perhaps it was a handwritten note that looked more like a treasure map or a file named something cryptic like “Image(345).jpg.”
I’m gathering these anecdotes to emphasize the struggles we face in document handling and to brainstorm solutions. So, please share your stories! Let’s commiserate together and prove that while we may be alone in our individual experiences, we are united in this shared journey of navigating the quirks of client communication.
