The Oddest Document Submissions: Share Your Stories!
In the realm of client communications and document handling, we often encounter unexpected surprises. Today, I want to open the floor to a discussion that highlights some of the most peculiar ways we’ve ever received documents from clients.
Allow me to share my own experience: there was a time when a client forwarded me a photo of a PDF that was displayed on their iPad. To complicate matters further, this snapshot was captured with a Samsung phone and then emailed to me. As you can imagine, we ended up having to process that invoice manually. Not exactly efficient, right?
Now, I’m curious to hear from all of you. What’s the most humorous, confusing, or downright bizarre method of document submission you’ve encountered? Whether it’s a handwritten note, an upside-down scan, or a file with a generic name like “Image(345).jpg,” I want to know the depths of this chaos we all experience.
This isn’t a pitch for any product or solution; instead, it’s an opportunity to vent and gather stories that may resonate with many in our field. Let’s connect and confirm that we’re not in this alone. What are your stories?
