Bizarre Document Submissions: A Call for Stories
In the realm of client communications, we often encounter unique challenges. One of the quirkiest aspects is how documents are submitted. We’ve all had those moments where we received files in unexpected formats that left us scratching our heads.
Let me share an example: there was a time when a client sent me a snapshot of a PDF displayed on their iPad, and interestingly, the image was captured using a Samsung phone. After receiving this, we still had the task of processing that invoice manually. It was a rather convoluted experience, to say the least!
Now, I’m eager to hear from you all. What’s the strangest or most convoluted document submission you’ve ever encountered? Perhaps it was a handwritten note, an upside-down scan, or a file obnoxiously named “Image(345).jpg.” Whatever the case may be, I want to collect these amusing stories as I work on a solution to streamline this often chaotic process.
Join in the conversation—amazing tales of document submissions are welcome! After all, it’s comforting to know we’re not in this peculiar business alone.
