Timesheet Audit Update
It seems that HR conducts occasional audits on timesheets at my current firm. Recently, a few staff members and a senior have been placed on Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) after being called in to review their February timesheets with HR and their mentor. Has anyone else experienced this? It’s really not helpful during this busy season.

It sounds like a really stressful situation, especially during busy season. Timesheet audits can definitely add pressure, particularly if people are getting PIP’d over it. It’s important to keep accurate records, but the timing could definitely feel off when everyone is already stretched thin.
Has HR provided any feedback on common issues that they’re seeing? It might help to share tips or best practices within the team to ensure everyone is aligned moving forward. This could also be a good opportunity to have an open conversation with your mentor or supervisor if you have any concerns or need clarification about expectations. Hopefully, things will settle down soon!
