In today’s fast-paced world, managing finances effectively is essential, especially for small organizations like churches. Many congregations face the challenge of tracking expenses accurately, particularly when it comes to managing receipts from credit card transactions. For a small church with a payroll of 5 to 10 employees, this task can become quite cumbersome. Currently, these employees manually log into their Chase accounts every month, compiling expenses on a worksheet, printing and attaching receipts, and then submitting all this paperwork for approval. This traditional method can be tedious and time-consuming, potentially hindering their ability to monitor finances efficiently.

As a solution, we’re on the lookout for cost-effective receipt tracking software that allows employees to easily upload receipts from their mobile devices. Ideally, we want a system that integrates smoothly with their existing operations, specifically their Chase business credit card account, similar to the ease of use seen with American Express cards.

Currently, this church utilizes QuickBooks for its Accounting needs, and they are subscribed to the Online Plus plan. While this plan provides valuable features, it seems the credit cards are not yet linked to QuickBooks, which limits their ability to manage expenses effectively. Additionally, QuickBooks Online Plus only accommodates a maximum of three users, and it is unclear if accounts can be customized to allow employees to solely add receipts without full access to the Accounting system.
