Subject: Missing B.Com Exams – Need Advice

I had to skip my 2nd-semester internal exams because of health issues, and now I’m in my 4th semester. Currently, there’s a retest happening at my college, but I missed the deadline to submit the application for the 2nd-semester retest. I’m wondering if I can take the exam during the 6th semester instead. Is there anyone here from Gujarat University who can provide guidance on this? Thank you!

  1. It sounds like you’re in a bit of a tough situation. Generally, policies regarding retests can vary by college and university, so it’s essential to check with your college’s administration or the examination office directly.

In many cases, universities might allow you to take a retest in a later semester, but there could be specific conditions or procedures you need to follow.

To resolve this, I recommend taking the following steps:

    1. Contact the College Administration: Reach out to your college’s examination office or the relevant department to explain your situation. They can give you the most accurate information regarding the possibility of taking the exam in the 6th semester and any steps you might need to take.

    2. Check the University Regulations: Sometimes, universities publish regulations regarding examinations and retests, which might provide guidance on your situation.

    3. Gather Documentation: If your health concerns were documented, gather any medical certificates or related documents that explain your absence. This might be helpful when discussing your case with the administration.

    4. Speak to Your Professors: If possible, talk to your professors or academic advisors for their input or assistance in navigating this situation.

Good luck, and I hope you find a solution that works for you!
