Recruiter looked at my linkedin anonymously twice in two days but hasn’t reached out. Should I cold email them?

A recruiter viewed my LinkedIn profile anonymously two days in a row but hasn’t contacted me yet. Should I send them a cold email?

I recently applied for a position at a company, and I noticed that a recruiter (listed only as being from that company) checked out my profile twice within a short span.

When I checked my application status, it updated on the same day they viewed my profile, which suggests that I haven’t been officially rejected yet.

I’ve identified three potential recruiters on LinkedIn. Should I reach out to one of them via email or hold off for now?

  1. It’s great to hear that a recruiter is showing interest in your profile! Given that you’ve noticed them viewing your LinkedIn twice, it suggests some level of interest, even if they haven’t reached out yet.

Cold emailing can be a good strategy, especially since you have a specific position in mind. Here are a few tips to consider:

    1. Choose One Recruiter: Pick one of the recruiters you’d like to reach out to, preferably someone who is associated with the role or the company you’re interested in.

    2. Craft a Professional Email: Keep it brief and to the point. Introduce yourself, mention your interest in the position you applied for, and express your enthusiasm for the company. You could also say you noticed they viewed your profile, which indicates you’re motivated and proactive.

    3. Inquire Politely: You can ask for any updates on your application status or if there’s anything else they need from you.

    4. Be Patient: After sending your email, give them some time to respond. Recruiters often have many candidates to consider, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t hear back immediately.

In summary, reaching out with a polite and professional email can show your interest and possibly help you stand out. Good luck!
