🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

Hey everyone! I have some wonderful news to share today—I just received an amazing job offer! I’ve been hired as an intern at a small, family-owned wealth management firm.

Here’s a bit of backstory: I had my first interview on Zoom with the assistant, and she recorded it for the owner to review. A week or two later, I was invited for a second round in-person with the owner himself. Honestly, I was so nervous! During the interview, he asked me four questions, and I completely blanked on the last one: “Is the S&P 500 cap-weighted or price-weighted?” I mistakenly answered “price”—oops! After that, he flipped the script and asked what questions I had for him. I almost said no and walked out, but I decided to seize the opportunity. I spent the next 15-20 minutes asking him about his career journey and advice.

After we wrapped up, I was a bundle of nerves—and I spent a good 10 minutes in the bathroom trying to shake off the anxiety. When I got home, I was feeling pretty stressed out.

A week later, he called with a rejection, saying my resume was strong, and I should aim for entry-level roles instead of internships. Fast forward to today—he called again with great news! I got the internship because the other candidate couldn’t meet the time commitment of 10-15 hours per week. I’ve never been happier to be a second choice in my life!

I start in two weeks! 🎉 I originally submitted this resume, and I want to give a huge shoutout to everyone who helped me refine it since my last post. Most of my work experience comes from summer jobs in high school, with my most recent position at Outlier AI. Thank you all so much—I truly appreciate your support! God bless! 🌟
