  1. Hi there!

Congrats on being a fully qualified ACCA member! The OBU (Oxford Brookes University) BSc in Applied Accounting is a great opportunity, but it can definitely be a bit overwhelming at first. Here are some insights based on my experience:

    1. What to do to begin:
    2. First, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria by having completed your ACCA training and exams.
    3. You’ll need to enroll with OBU by submitting the required forms and fees. After that, you can access the resources on the OBU website.
    4. Familiarize yourself with the guidelines and requirements for the Research and Analysis Project (RAP). It’s helpful to choose a topic that interests you and is aligned with your career goals.

    5. How much work it needed:

    6. The amount of work varies for everyone, but typically, you can expect to spend a few months on the project, including research, writing, and revising.
    7. I’d recommend setting a schedule to keep yourself on track. Drafting an outline early on can help you organize your thoughts and ensure you cover all necessary areas.

    8. Worth it or not:

    9. In my opinion, the OBU qualification was definitely worth it! It added value to my CV and improved my understanding of practical applications in Accounting.
    10. Additionally, the process helped refine my research and analytical skills, which are beneficial in the long run.

If you have specific questions as you go along, don’t hesitate to ask! Good luck with your OBU journey! 😊
