Seeking Advice on Accounting/finance Opportunities in NYC Post-Graduation
Hello! I’m currently a junior at a UC school, majoring in Economics and Accounting, with plans to graduate in 2026.
I’m really eager to move to New York City after graduation, but I’m a bit worried about securing a job given the high level of competition in the area.
At the moment, I’m interning in tax, but I’m more interested in pursuing a career in Audit. Unfortunately, I don’t have any Audit experience to showcase on my resume, which makes me feel a bit concerned.
Do you think I still have a solid chance of landing an Accounting or finance job in NYC? How challenging is it to find a position in a different state?
