Seeking Guidance: Should I Work While Studying for ACCA?
Hello everyone! I’m 24 years old and from India, currently planning to embark on my ACCA journey. I could really use some advice on how to proceed.
I graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) and have spent the last two years as a functional consultant at an ERP company. In March 2024, I left my job to prepare for MBA entrance exams, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to secure admission anywhere. Now, I’ve decided to redirect my efforts towards ACCA.
My main concern is whether I should look for a job or internship while I prepare for the ACCA exams, or if I should focus solely on studying first. Since it’s been some time since I’ve delved into core Accounting subjects, I’m worried that job hunting might be challenging at this point. Should I try to pass a few exams before seeking employment, or would it be beneficial to gain work experience while I study?
