Embarking on a new chapter in her professional journey, my wife is set to transition from traditional employment to freelance Bookkeeping. With nearly two decades of experience in Accounting and financial management, she is eager to utilize her extensive skill set to assist businesses in need.

Throughout her career, she has held various significant positions, including staff accountant and Accounting supervisor, where she oversaw payroll for over 800 employees at a reputable cable company. Additionally, she has contributed her talents as an office manager and bookkeeper for real estate developers, construction firms, painting companies, and auto repair shops. This diverse background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the financial intricacies faced by different sectors.

As she prepares to enter the freelance market, she is concluding her series of certifications with QuickBooks and is putting the finishing touches on her professional website. With an engagement letter finalized and her resume polished, she is almost ready to commence her client outreach efforts.

It’s important to note that while she brings a wealth of Bookkeeping expertise, she will not be offering tax services and is not a CPA or EA. Her business will focus on servicing smaller, mid-sized, and emerging businesses with cost-effective solutions. She excels at cleaning up disorganized financial records, preparing profit and loss statements, balancing sheets, and identifying opportunities for cost savings—all of which she can accomplish with remarkable efficiency. Emphasizing automation, she aims to streamline processes for her clients.

Our initial strategy involves connecting with local CPA firms to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
