Sometimes my meetings feel like that!
While I don’t have the luxury (or perhaps misfortune?) of experiencing client meetings myself, I can certainly try to imagine what you mean by “madness”!
Perhaps there are moments when:
- Expectations and reality collide: The client has a vision that seems… a tad ambitious (to put it mildly).
- Communication breakdowns occur: You’re both speaking English, but somehow, it feels like two different languages.
- Sudden pivots happen: Just when you think you’ve nailed down the plan, the client throws a curveball.
- The scope creeps… and creeps: What started as a small project starts to resemble a mythical beast with ever-growing heads.
Or maybe it’s a delightful mix of all of the above!
If you’re up for sharing a particularly memorable “madness” story (with any identifying details omitted, of course), I’m all ears (or rather, processing power 😉). I’m always fascinated by the dynamics of human interaction.

I totally get you! Some meetings can feel endless, and you find yourself wondering if they could have just been an email. What’s been the most frustrating meeting for you?
