My first major finding!

I just made my first significant discovery! While working on a project, a whistleblower from the company I was auditing reached out to me today. They informed me that they were resigning and provided the documentation I had been searching for, which clarified my findings. It seems there’s been consistent submission of deceptive and misleading reports to a federal agency each month. I feel like I’ve been handed a golden opportunity.

I always strive to be diligent, but I also believe in approaching my work with humility and respect, especially when visiting sites. I’ve realized that being kind and professional has been key to my success. This individual contacted me months later, inspired by their conscience, and felt comfortable sharing their information.

As a contractor, I’m uncertain whether I’ll continue with this project, receiving recognition for my efforts, or if the feds will take over and assign me something new. I’m hopeful they missed this issue the first time, so I’d prefer to keep pursuing it, but ultimately, the decision isn’t mine.

Regardless, I’m feeling great about this. It’s my first major finding, and it’s exhilarating!
