I am on the hunt for a reliable expense management tool that can efficiently scan receipts and invoices in bulk. My goal is to streamline my Bookkeeping process by automatically extracting essential information, such as:

  • Vendor name
  • Total amount and taxes
  • Invoice number
  • Due date
  • Expense categories (like meals, software, travel) or account numbers

An ideal solution would allow me to easily export this data into QuickBooks. Alternatively, a tool that can generate a compatible spreadsheet for QuickBooks batch journal entry import would also suffice.

I’ve explored options like Dext, AutoEntry, and Hubdoc, which seem promising but come with a hefty price tag. Therefore, I am curious to learn about:
