I’m currently working towards my Master’s in Accounting and juggling two internships in these fields. In my marketing role, I’m using tools like Canva, iMovie, and CapCut to create engaging content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Gmail. I also have some familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing.
In my Accounting internship, I’m focused on Bookkeeping through QuickBooks Online and Desktop, as well as managing corporate and personal taxes using UltraTax. Additionally, I sometimes organize payroll and oversee expense and revenue tracking for clients with Excel.
My ambition is to become a freelancer offering services in both accounting and marketing. However, I understand that I need to carve out a niche. For accounting, I’m leaning towards Bookkeeping and handling small business and personal taxes during peak seasons. On the marketing side, I’m still exploring my options and haven’t settled on a specialty yet. I’m feeling a bit uncertain about my path and would truly value any advice or insights you might have.
