ICAI sent me a notification after correction window closed

ICAI notified me after the correction window had already closed. This is my second attempt at the foundation exam, and when filling out the exam form for May ’25, I used the same photo and signature from my previous attempt. Today (24th March), I received an SMS from ICAI regarding this, but the correction window closed on 20th March.

What should I do, guys? 😊

  1. It sounds frustrating to receive a notification after the correction window has closed. Here are a few steps you can consider:

    1. Contact ICAI Immediately: Reach out to the ICAI helpdesk or the relevant examination authority as soon as possible. Explain your situation and mention that the notification came after the correction window had closed.

    2. Check Guidelines: Review the guidelines provided by ICAI regarding photo and signature specifications. Make sure that your previous photo and signature meet all the requirements.

    3. Look for Official Communication: Keep an eye on any official communication from ICAI, as they might provide further instructions or an extension for a specific case like yours.

    4. Prepare for Alternative Solutions: If ICAI cannot accommodate your request, be prepared for possible alternatives, such as submitting the required documents or following any specific instructions they provide.

    5. Stay Updated: Join forums or groups of peers who are also preparing for the exam. They might have faced similar issues and can offer support or insight.

Keep calm and try to resolve the issue step by step. Good luck!
