I’m seeking some advice about my future. I completed 12th grade last year with a score of 95%, but I realize that it’s not relevant for my CA journey. I attempted the CA Foundation exam in January, but unfortunately, I didn’t pass. I started preparing late due to my anime distractions that began in December. While I feel confident about passing in May, I’m seeing many people switch from CA to other courses like ACCA and CPA, and it’s making me feel uncertain since I haven’t enrolled in any degree program either.
Most of my friends have chosen BCA, and while I was interested in both CA and BCA, I opted for CA. Now I’m feeling unsure about my decision. A friend of my father, who is a semi-qualified CA, advised me that I don’t necessarily need a degree, as I could pursue a B.Com from IGNOU. However, I’m hesitant about the IGNOU program.
