I’m feeling incredibly overwhelmed right now. I completed my foundation course after finishing 12th grade in May 2022, and I performed exceptionally well—often being the top student. My parents had high expectations for me. However, as I approached my CA Intermediate exams in May 2023, I didn’t study at all. I filled out the exam form but ultimately decided not to take the exams, which left my parents concerned. My mom began to criticize me, and I also registered for the November 2023 attempt without studying. I felt pressured to go through with it because not attempting was not an option for me. I took a break and, in August 2024, enrolled in offline classes in another city, but I didn’t attend those either.
Now, with only 35 days to go before my May attempt—and having registered for both groups for the third time—I’m feeling lost. If I don’t pass this time, my life will be filled with taunts and disappointments that I can’t even begin to express. Is there any chance I can pass just one group in May 2025? I would really appreciate any advice or support.

It sounds like you’re going through a really tough time, and I want you to know that you’re not alone in feeling this way. It’s understandable to feel overwhelmed, especially with the pressure from expectations and the challenges you’ve faced.
The important thing right now is to focus on what you can control. Here are some suggestions that might help you in the next 35 days:
Create a Study Plan: Break down your study material into manageable sections and set specific goals for each day. This will help you stay organized and focused.
Prioritize Important Topics: Identify the topics that carry more weight in the exam and focus on those. Understanding the syllabus and exam pattern will guide your preparation.
Stay Positive and Motivated: Surround yourself with positivity. Try to maintain a mindset that focuses on progress rather than perfection. Celebrating small victories can boost your confidence too.
Find Study Resources: Consider using study guides, online courses, or joining study groups. Engaging with peers can also provide motivation and support.
Practice Past Papers: Familiarizing yourself with the exam format and types of questions through past papers can greatly help your preparation. It also builds confidence.
Talk to Someone: If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t hesitate to reach out to someone you trust. Sharing your feelings can sometimes lighten the burden and provide you with different perspectives.
Self-Care: Remember to take care of yourself physically and mentally. Short breaks, nutritious meals, and proper sleep can significantly impact your study effectiveness.
Passing one group in May 2025 is definitely achievable if you commit to focused study and take proactive steps. It’s important to believe in yourself and remember that setbacks are part of the journey. You’ve demonstrated capability in the past, and you can do it again. Good luck, and take it one day at a time!
