Building a Network: How CPAs Can Connect with Bookkeepers

As a Certified Public Accountant with a specialization in tax services—both for individuals and businesses—I’m embarking on the journey of establishing my own firm. A significant part of this endeavor involves expanding my client base and forming valuable relationships with bookkeepers to whom I can confidently refer clients. I’m eager to learn effective strategies for connecting with bookkeepers and fostering mutually beneficial professional relationships.
One approach I’m considering is offering referral fees for any clients bookkeepers send my way, in hopes of encouraging them to experience my services and assess whether both they and their clients are pleased with the collaboration.
