Subject: Feeling Anxious About My Internship Search

Hey everyone,

I’m a sophomore and I’ve been on the hunt for an internship since November, but so far I’ve applied to over 30 positions without success. While I do have a campus job that provides me with some Accounting experience, I’m starting to worry about what this means for my job prospects after graduation. Am I in trouble, or is there still hope for me?

Thanks for any advice!

  1. It sounds like you’re feeling a bit anxious about your internship search, but don’t worry too much! It’s great that you have a school job in Accounting, as that experience is valuable and can help you stand out to future employers. Many students find themselves in similar situations, especially in competitive fields.

Keep applying, and consider expanding your search to include part-time or volunteer positions that can further enhance your skills and resume. Networking with professors, attending career fairs, and utilizing LinkedIn can also be beneficial. Remember, many students secure internships just before graduation, so there’s still time. Stay positive and persistent, and you’ll be okay post-grad!
