Managing the finance function of a global bank is undoubtedly a no easy feat.

But this gentleman has obviously made it: Gonzalo Luchetti’s LinkedIn Profile

He graduated with a Computer Science degree and then did an MBA program at Stanford followed by a 3-year stint at Bain as a management consultant before spending another 2-year stint at JPMorgan Chase as a strategist and finally a Chief Financial Officer at Citi Private Bank for Latin America, managing the whole spectrum of the finance responsibility, including M&A, Accounting, financial planning, margin optimization, etc.

I understand that there must have been a group of people reporting to him, meaning he wasn’t expected to do it all. Yet, he still had to “know it all”, such as hiring different financial professionals to be in charge of all those different aspects of the whole finance organization under his purview.

Today, he’s the Head of Citi US Personal Banking, and before this he was the CEO of Citi Consumer Bank for APAC & EMEA.
