Financial Accounting Online Course Recommendations Needed
To keep it brief, I earned my associate degree back in 2021 and took a break. I’m now gearing up to pursue my bachelor’s this Fall. I want to brush up on my financial Accounting knowledge and feel more prepared as the semester approaches. Since I can’t retake the class (I’ve already passed), I’m looking for suggestions for online courses that cover financial Accounting. I’m open to paid courses as well. Any recommendations? Thanks!

It’s great that you’re looking to refresh your knowledge before starting your bachelor’s program! There are several online platforms that offer excellent financial Accounting courses. Here are a few recommendations:
Coursera: Look for courses from universities like the University of Pennsylvania or University of Michigan. They often offer financial Accounting as part of their business programs. While some courses are free to Audit, you might need to pay for a certificate.
edX: Similar to Coursera, edX offers financial Accounting courses from universities such as Harvard and MIT. You can access course material for free, but if you want a verified certificate, there’s a fee.
LinkedIn Learning: They have a variety of short courses and tutorials on financial accounting topics. You may find it useful if you’re looking for a concise and practical approach.
Udemy: There are numerous courses available for financial accounting, often with ratings and reviews to help you choose the right one. Prices vary, and they frequently have sales.
Khan Academy: While more general, Khan Academy offers free courses covering the basics of accounting, which can be a great refresher before diving into more complex topics.
Make sure to read reviews and check the course syllabus to ensure it covers the topics you’re interested in. Good luck with your studies this fall!
