After years of striving to move on from my draining back-office role, I’ve finally secured a buy-side trading associate position! Honestly, I thought it would be a long shot due to my age (early 30s) and non-target degree, but here we are. Countless sleepless nights and personal sacrifices spent on self-study have finally borne fruit. I want to extend my gratitude to everyone in this community for the support and valuable advice. For those still in pursuit of your first finance role, remember that very little is truly impossible. Keep pushing forward—your hard work will definitely pay off!
