feeling extremely anxious after reading all the negative reviews of my institute.

I’m feeling really anxious after seeing all the negative reviews about my institute. I wanted to share this here because I believe others can relate. I’m currently in my second year and decided to pursue ACCA. With no prior knowledge, I was looking at different institutes when I found Zell Education. After a counseling session, things moved quickly, and I enrolled within just a week.

Lately, I’ve been noticing some LinkedIn posts claiming that Zell Education is a scam, and it’s making me really worried. Coming from a middle-class family, they’ve been incredibly supportive and encouraged me to take this expensive course, but I’m scared of wasting their hard-earned money. So far, my experience has been positive; I received my books yesterday, and the Financial Reporting (FR) teacher is great at addressing doubts.

My main concern is that I still haven’t registered with the ACCA body, as they were supposed to handle that for me. Is this delay normal, or am I just overthinking? They also say I won’t have to pay any exemption fees since they are platinum partners. Is that really the case?

Sorry for the lengthy rant, but I needed to express these worries. I’m planning to take the FR exam in June, so if anyone has tips or advice, I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

  1. Hey there! I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling anxious about the negative reviews. It’s totally understandable to feel that way, especially when you’re investing so much in your education and future.

It’s great to hear that you haven’t had any negative experiences with Zell Education so far and that your teacher is helpful. Sometimes, online reviews can focus on extreme experiences, and they might not represent the overall quality of the institution.

Regarding the registration with the ACCA body, it does usually take some time, but it’s a good idea to follow up with them if you’re concerned. Clear communication can help ease your worries. Just check in with them to confirm your registration status and clarify any doubts you have.

As for the exemption fees, being a platinum partner does often mean they have certain agreements with the ACCA, but it’s best to verify directly with them to ensure you have all the correct information.

In the meantime, try to focus on your studies and preparation for the FR exam. Remember that you’re not alone — many people experience similar worries when beginning a new journey. You’ve got this, and reaching out for support is always a good step. Best of luck with your studies and the exam in June! 🌟
