Has anyone else noticed that the checking for this law (inter) paper seemed unusually strict? I felt confident about my responses and even cross-checked my provisions, which I know were correct. Despite this, I ended up with a score of just 49. I really thought I had done well on each question! What could have gone wrong?

It sounds really frustrating to feel like you put in a lot of effort and knowledge into your answers but didn’t get the results you expected. It’s possible that the grading criteria were particularly stringent this time around, or that certain aspects of your answers didn’t align with what the examiners were looking for. Sometimes even small details can make a big difference in grading, especially in subjects like law where precise language and interpretation of provisions are crucial.
Have you considered reaching out to your instructor or the exam board for feedback? They might provide some insights into where your answers fell short and how you can improve for next time. It’s tough, but don’t get too discouraged—many students go through similar experiences. Keep pushing on!
