Commuting to an office fucking sucks. That’s 10 hours a week in lost productivity, sleep, family time and life. So glad I got my CPA to be more competitive for Remote jobs like the one I just got and to eventually launch my own firm. I can’t fucking stand you low IQ boomers with your boomer boxes

Commuting to an office can be incredibly frustrating. That’s 10 hours a week taken away from productivity, sleep, family time, and life in general. I’m really grateful I earned my CPA to enhance my competitiveness for remote positions like the one I just landed, and to eventually start my own firm. The traditional office environment is just not for me.

The freedom I have now is amazing. I no longer have to deal with distractions like Bob peeking over my cubicle or Janice interrupting my lunch with comments or questions about my food.

I prefer to focus on my work for 8-12 hours a day, close my laptop at the end, and if you’re genuinely interested in connecting—rather than just using me to procrastinate—I’m all for hanging out on weekends!

  1. It sounds like you’ve found a great opportunity to reclaim your time and focus on what really matters to you! The shift to remote work has definitely been a game-changer for many—eliminating those daily commutes and distractions can really enhance productivity and overall quality of life. It’s awesome that you’re not just stopping at remote work; you’re working towards launching your own firm too! Best of luck grinding through those hours and making meaningful connections outside of work when you want to. Keep pushing forward!
