Automating SAP with Excel
In this training session, I’ll demonstrate how I’ve streamlined SAP processes using Excel. What once took me an entire week can now be accomplished in just a couple of hours.
I’ve successfully automated the extraction of screen prints and data sets from SAP, eliminating the need for manual data retrieval—something many auditors can relate to.
SAP offers built-in VB script recording capabilities, and by leveraging Excel, you can create powerful automations.

This sounds like a fantastic resource for those looking to enhance their efficiency with SAP! Automating repetitive tasks can indeed save a significant amount of time, especially in auditing where data extraction and report generation can be tedious.
I’m particularly interested in how the integration of Excel’s capabilities with SAP’s VB script recording works in practice. It would be great to hear more about specific use cases or examples from your training.
