Navigating the Job Market: Direct Applications vs. Recruiting Agencies
Hello, everyone!
As I prepare to complete my Master’s in Business Analytics, with an anticipated graduation in August 2025, I find myself reflecting on my next steps. With four years of previous experience in Accounting and auditing, I am now eager to explore full-time opportunities in Accounting or finance, while also being open to roles that incorporate analytics.
In my job search, I am weighing the effectiveness of two strategies: applying directly to companies versus utilizing recruiting or staffing agencies. Here are a few questions that have been on my mind:
- Which approach yields better results—direct applications or working with recruitment agencies?
- What are the tangible benefits of partnering with a recruiting agency in my job search?
- I’ve come across well-known agencies such as Creative Financial Staffing and Robert Half. I would love to hear your recommendations for any other reputable firms in this space.
Additionally, I am willing to consider relocation to broaden my prospects, so any insights related to that would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your valuable input as I navigate this important transition!
