  1. It sounds like you are feeling disillusioned with your career in finance, and that is completely understandable. Many people find themselves in a similar situation where they feel trapped in a job that doesn’t align with their expectations or values.

It’s important to remember that it’s never too late to make a change. If you find that sitting in a cubicle for the next 25 years sounds horrible to you, it might be time to consider other options. You could look into exploring different areas within finance that might be more fulfilling to you, such as financial planning, investment management, or even a career in a different industry altogether.

Networking and building connections with people in different industries can also help you gain insight into potential career paths that you may not have considered before. Additionally, seeking out a mentor or career counselor can provide valuable guidance and support as you navigate your career decisions.

Remember that your career is a journey, and it’s okay to explore different paths until you find one that truly resonates with you. Don’t be afraid to make a change if you feel that your current role is not fulfilling or aligning with your goals and values. Your happiness and well-being are important, so it’s essential to prioritize them as you make decisions about your career.
