Living in a small town can often feel like a significant hurdle when trying to break into the Accounting field, especially when job opportunities seem scarce, and potential employers hesitate to hire someone with existing commitments. If you’re like me, you’ve likely exhausted numerous options, only to be met with dead ends and repeated rejections. Balancing my ambitions of earning a bachelor’s degree and obtaining enrolled agent status with owning a tax firm doesn’t help in securing a year-round position. So, what are the alternatives when traditional paths seem blocked?
