Recommendations for Course Certifications
My school is offering a Bookkeeping course that includes QuickBooks (QB) training. It’s marketed as preparation for the QB Certified User exam. The course comes with an extensive syllabus (I’ve attached a picture) and includes an exam voucher.
The issue is the cost—it’s over $2,000. I’m debating whether this investment is justified since it would take up most of my savings.
Taking this course would be a significant leap for me as it would mark my entry into the professional arena. Though I’m not keen on launching my own business just yet (I’d prefer to be employed for now), I am seriously considering it.
Alternatively, my school also provides a “Chartered Tax Professional with Microsoft Excel” course, which has piqued my interest. I’m currently stuck between the two options.
Should I pursue the course offered by my school, or should I look for a more affordable alternative? Your insights would be greatly appreciated.
