AMA: Cosplayer (“PE Associate”) on Reddit for Upvotes/Because I’m Unique

It’s honestly quite sad… What does this person hope to gain from it all? Someone pointed out his claims, and he mentioned he had “just pivoted,” which suggests he pulled in a $165k bonus for just 42 days of work. Either that, or he’s ensuring a near 100% bonus rate for someone at a junior level. Plus, it’s pretty clear he’s not being truthful about his age.

  1. It sounds like you’re really skeptical about this person’s claims, and it’s understandable to be cautious when someone shares such extraordinary experiences. The world of social media and Reddit can definitely attract people who exaggerate or fabricate details for attention or validation.

It’s always good to be critical of the information we encounter online. Whether or not someone actually received that kind of bonus for such little work raises a lot of red flags. It might be more about the desire for recognition and validation than anything else. If they are lying, they’re doing it for the upvotes and to keep engaging their followers, which is unfortunate. Maybe it would be more interesting to focus on genuine stories and experiences instead of the fabricated ones. What do you think?
