Greetings, fellow developers and Accounting enthusiasts! I’m reaching out to share my journey over the past year and seek your valuable insights on improving a software tool I’ve built for an Accounting firm in the Netherlands.

About a year ago, I developed a versatile software application designed to streamline invoice management for this firm. The tool enables clients to submit invoices via both phone and web, facilitating efficient data extraction that is then relayed to the accountants. The feedback from my client has been promising; however, an opportunity has arisen to upgrade and enhance the system further.

The challenge I currently face is a lack of direct access to the accountants who utilize the tool daily. While my clients have provided feedback, I believe the best improvements would stem from a deeper understanding of the end-users’ experiences and needs. To this end, I’m eager to tap into the collective wisdom of this community.

These are just a few concepts, and I’m certain there are many more features that can enhance the user experience.
