Over the past year, I have had the opportunity to develop and implement a software solution for a Dutch Accounting firm. This tool was designed with the primary goal of streamlining the invoice management process. It enables clients to submit invoices via phone or web, extracts relevant data, and efficiently delivers this information to the accountants at the firm.
Currently, the firm has expressed interest in upgrading and enhancing the system. However, I’ve run into a challenge: I do not have direct access to their accountants, which makes it difficult for me to gather feedback and insights on the user experience from the actual end-users.
Given this context, I would greatly appreciate your expertise and insights. From the perspective of bookkeepers and accountants, what features do you believe would significantly improve the functionality and usability of such a tool? Here are some questions to consider:
