ACCA here we go

Exciting News: I’m Starting My ACCA Journey!

Hey everyone! I’m thrilled to share that I officially gained access to the ACCA platform yesterday, and I’m now a student! I’ve received exemptions for the first four exams, which is great, but I have to admit I’m feeling a bit anxious. I only have three years to complete all the exams, as this is a requirement set by my company to cover my tuition and exam fees.

After researching various opinions online and consulting with ChatGPT, I’ve decided to tackle the exams in the following order: FR, AA, TX, PM, FM, SBL, SBR, AFM, and AAA. Do you think it’s realistic for me to complete all of these within three years? Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Congratulations on officially becoming an ACCA student! It’s great to hear that you’ve received exemptions for the first four exams—that’s a fantastic start.

Feeling a bit scared is totally normal, but with a solid plan and commitment, you can definitely manage the exam order you’ve laid out within three years. Your chosen order (FR, AA, TX, PM, FM, SBL, SBR, AFM, AAA) seems well thought out, as it generally progresses from foundational knowledge to more advanced topics.

Here are a few tips to help you succeed:

    1. Create a Study Schedule: Break down each exam into manageable study blocks, and set deadlines for yourself. Make sure to account for review and practice exams to reinforce your learning.

    2. Stay Consistent: Aim to study consistently rather than cramming. Even a few hours each week can make a big difference over time.

    3. Utilize Resources: Take advantage of the study materials, tools, and support available through your ACCA platform and consider joining study groups or forums for additional help and motivation.

    4. Practice Exam Technique: Familiarize yourself with the exam format and practice past exam papers to build your confidence and improve your time management skills.

    5. Seek Support: Don’t hesitate to reach out to your peers or instructors if you’re feeling stuck. The ACCA community is there to help.

Remember, it’s okay to feel challenged—just keep pushing forward, and you’ll get there. Best of luck on your ACCA journey! You’ve got this!
