I have an interview lined up next week with a VC firm that specializes in biotech, focusing on a role in Accounting and finance.

I’m a CPA/MBA with nearly eight years of experience, having worked in public Accounting, nonprofit organizations, and most recently in a family office where I led the Accounting team. This position will be reporting to the VP.

Given that it’s a back-office role, I expect the interview dynamics will differ from those of front-office positions. How can I best prepare for this interview? What insightful questions should I ask to gain a better understanding of the firm?
