How many of you push through and go to work even when you’re feeling under the weather? Whether it’s the flu or just a cold, do you still show up?
Sickness has a way of spreading through the office quickly! I’ve been down for the count for three days, but I still have to report to work since my company doesn’t provide fully paid sick days, and I’ve got bills to take care of.
It makes me curious—do others find themselves going to work while sick too?

It’s a tough situation, and I can definitely relate. Many people feel pressured to go to work even when they’re not feeling well, especially when sick days are limited. It’s frustrating to see how illness can spread in the workplace, and it often leads to longer recovery times for everyone involved.
I think it’s important for companies to consider more flexible and supportive sick leave policies, not only for the health of their employees but also for the overall productivity of the team. I usually try to assess how contagious I might be and whether my presence is really necessary before making the decision to go in. But it’s a tough balance between personal health and financial responsibility. I hope you feel better soon and that workplaces start to prioritize employee well-being!
