Subject: Inquiry About OBU Degree
Hi everyone,
I’ve completed 11 exams and have 2 final professional exams left. I’m wondering if it’s possible to pursue the OBU degree in period 50. The deadline for the ethics module is in 5 days, and I haven’t started it yet. I’m also unclear about the mentorship process. Is there another opportunity after this period? Would it be better for me to wait until I finish my last 2 exams and submit in the next period instead?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It sounds like you’re close to completing your exams, which is great! For the OBU degree, there are a few key points to consider:
Deadline for Ethics Module: Since you mentioned the deadline for the ethics module is in 5 days, you’ll need to prioritize this if you plan to submit for Period 50. Make sure to review the module requirements and complete it on time.
Mentors: Typically, having a mentor is an essential part of the OBU degree process. If you’re unsure about how to find a mentor, consider reaching out to your peers, faculty, or any academic advisors you may have. They can guide you on the mentoring process.
Future Submission Periods: If you’re uncertain about meeting the deadlines or if you think you might be rushing through the process, it might be wise to wait until after you complete your final two exams. This way, you can focus fully on your OBU submission without the added pressure of exams.
In summary, if you feel you can handle the ethics module and the mentoring process in time for Period 50, go for it! Otherwise, it may be beneficial to wait until you’re finished with your exams to ensure you submit a strong application. Good luck!
