Issues with getting PER signed off

Challenges with Getting PER Approved

Has anyone else experienced difficulties getting their time approved in the ACCA portal? I set up my former manager as my PER supervisor, but he’s encountering problems signing off my hours in the system. When he tries to access the trainee section, it’s greyed out.

Both he and I have reached out to ACCA for help, but so far, we haven’t had any success. They’ve requested that my supervisor contact them again with screenshots, but it feels like we’re stuck in an endless loop without a solution.

I’m not sure who else I can turn to for approval. I asked our senior manager, but he seemed reluctant to help, especially now that I’ve switched teams. I also approached another supervisor who is less senior, thinking it would be an easier option. He agreed at first, but after I followed up a few times, he completely stopped responding and never registered as my supervisor.

I’m feeling really disheartened by this process, as it seems like one obstacle after another with this qualification. 😭

  1. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re facing such frustrating challenges with getting your PER signed off. It sounds incredibly stressful, especially when you’re trying to move forward with your ACCA qualification.

Have you thought about reaching out to someone in your HR department? They might have experience dealing with these situations or could help facilitate communication with ACCA or supervisors, especially since you’ve now moved teams.

Another option could be to connect with peers who might have been in a similar situation. Sometimes, a fresh perspective or advice from someone who’s been through it can help.

Don’t lose hope—these hurdles can feel overwhelming, but you’re not alone in this. Keep advocating for yourself and exploring all your options. You’ve worked hard to get to this point, and it’s important to keep pushing through.
