Issues with ACCA Payment
I’m in the process of applying for student status on the ACCA platform, but I’ve hit a snag on the payment screen. Since I’m in Malaysia, I was only given three options for paying my registration fees: credit/debit card, PayPal, and Alipay. I preferred to make a bank transfer, and after inquiring with them, I was informed that this was an option. I completed the transfer on February 28, but after multiple follow-ups, I’ve been told they haven’t received the payment yet. They’ve promised to email me back, but I still haven’t heard anything. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do next?

It sounds like you’re facing a frustrating situation with your ACCA registration. Here are a few steps you can consider to resolve the issue:
Confirm Transfer Details: Double-check the transfer details you used, including the account number and reference information, to ensure everything was correct. It’s also good to confirm with your bank that the transaction was successful.
Obtain Proof of Transfer: If you haven’t done so already, get a receipt or confirmation from your bank that the transfer was completed. This can serve as important documentation in case there are further issues.
Follow Up in Writing: Since phone calls haven’t yielded results, consider sending a formal email outlining your situation. Include all relevant details such as your name, registration number (if available), date of transfer, and a copy of the bank confirmation. Ask for acknowledgment of your email and for the issue to be resolved promptly.
Contact Customer Support: Look for other channels to contact ACCA, such as social media or live chat, if available. Sometimes, reaching out through different platforms can result in quicker responses.
Escalate the Issue: If you continue to get no response, ask to speak to a manager or higher-level support. You might also inquire if there’s a complaints department you can reach out to.
Check Local Regulations: Since you’re in Malaysia, it might be helpful to check any consumer protection laws or financial dispute resolution services available to you in the event this becomes a bigger issue.
Consider Alternative Payment Methods: If the delay continues, reconsider using one of the methods on their payment screen as a backup, especially if time is a significant factor for your registration.
Hopefully, these steps will help you resolve the payment issue soon! Good luck!
