Seeking Advice: Should I Work While Preparing for ACCA?
Hello everyone! I’m 24 years old and currently navigating my path in India as I plan to pursue ACCA. I’m looking for some guidance on how to proceed.
I graduated in 2022 with a B.Com (H) degree and have spent two years working as a functional consultant at an ERP firm. In March 2024, I left my job to focus on MBA entrance exams, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to secure a spot in any programs. Now, I’m shifting my focus to ACCA.
I’m facing a dilemma: should I seek a job or internship while I prepare for my exams, or should I dedicate myself completely to my studies? Given that I haven’t engaged with core Accounting subjects for some time, I’m concerned about the challenges of finding a job right now. Would it be more beneficial to pass a few exams first before applying for work, or should I try to gain practical experience alongside my studies?
