Unicorn job?

Is this the ideal senior accountant position I’ve been dreaming of, or should I explore other opportunities? I’d appreciate any insights!

Compensation: $90K with a 10% bonus in Dallas, TX

Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule of 2 days in-office per week, totaling 6 days per month. We don’t have to come in during month-end close, and on the in-office days, we’re only required to be there for 4 hours. I generally go home for lunch on those days and continue working from home.

Benefits: Unlimited PTO with no stigma attached. A coworker regularly takes two two-week vacations a year, plus additional time off around the holidays.

Workload: I typically work around 20 hours per week outside of close periods. During close, my hours range from 25 to 35, depending on challenges.

Challenges: There are a couple of significant issues prompting me to consider leaving:

  1. There’s a senior team member who isn’t contributing adequately, resulting in an increasing workload for me.
  2. Our upper management has a background in Big Four Audit and a management style that I find challenging to work with.
